An interactive course consisting of two afternoon sessions It has often been said that Strategy is Execution, Execution, Execution. It is far better to have a well executed, basic strategy than to have a brilliant strategy, poorly executed.
Key to excellent execution is harnessing the power and strength of an organization’s personnel. Key to harnessing the power and strength of an organization is clear and persuasive communication. Persuasive communication is vital to leading an organization and ensuring cohesive implementation of strategies.
Managing, leading and inspiring an organization requires communication at several levels to ensure excellent execution of business strategies. Audiences differ from rank and file to management to the sales force to media. Effective and persuasive communications encompass both the hearts and minds of the audience. Learn from a seasoned business leader, one who has managed a P11 billion company with over 1000 employees and 250,000 independent sales representatives, how to effectively communicate and persuade at these levels:
Course Curriculum: Pre-work: Participants will be asked to come to the course with two prepared 5- 8 minute speech/talks. One talk should be an ‘inspirational or key note address’ talk. The other talk should be a business talk.
Program Proper: Day 1 – session begins at 1:30 Motivational speaking/Inspiring your team Day 2 – session begins at 1:30 Business Presentations.
The following will be discussed during both days
- Speech content
- Typing of scripts
- Delivery of speeches: eye contact, posture, gestures
- Use of visual aids
- Dealing with a noisy audience/unruly audience
- Dealing with a sleepy audience
Program Concept: This is an interactive course. The moderator will give examples and steps on how to achieve each of the key benefits of the course. Attendants will then be asked to do individual work as well as group work. After which, volunteers will be selected to present before the audience and receive feedback.
